MENTORING PROGRAM

WIS is dedicated to helping young women scientists advance their career and have more
opportunities in not only the industry but SFRBM as well. Towards that, they have
developed a mentoring program which matches young scientists with a mentor
who is already established. If you are interested in being a mentee or a mentor, please
contact Eva Grayck or Maureen Gwinn for more information.

OPENING DOORS

WIS organizes the annual Opening Doors Event which provides the opportunity for
education, dialogue and networking among scientists during the Annual Meeting. Topics
vary each year and the event will feature a guest speaker. The 2009 Opening Doors Event
will be on Thursday, November 19 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in San Francisco during the
SFRBM's 16th Annual Meeting. Click here to learn more.
