2009 TRAVEL AWARD WINNERS
(October 9, 2009) -- SFRBM's Junior Awards Committee wishes to congratulate the winners of the Society's annual Travel Awards. These awards were made available to students and postdocs who wish to attend SFRBM 2009 to present their research. Ten (10) awards at $1,000 each were conferred to postdoc or student members of SFRBM outside of the United States. In addition, ten (10) Travel Awards at $500 each were presented to postdoc and student members in the US. Winners will receive recognition and their check at the SFRBM 2009 Awards Banquet on November 21 in San Francisco. Please note that Travel Award winners are not eligible for Young Investigator Awards (YIA) given at the meeting.
