MENTORING PROGRAM

WIS is dedicated to helping young women scientists advance their career and have more
opportunities in not only the industry but SFRBM as well. Towards that, they have
developed a mentoring program which matches young scientists with a mentor
who is already established. This program is open to ALL SFRBM members! If you are
interested in being a mentee or a mentor, please contact Eva Grayck for more information.

OPENING DOORS

WIS organizes the annual Opening Doors Event which provides the opportunity for
education, dialogue and networking among scientists during the Annual Meeting. Topics
vary each year and the event will feature a guest speaker. The 2011 Opening Doors Event
will be on Thursday, November 17 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Atlanta during the
SFRBM's 18th Annual Meeting.
