2010 YOUNG INVESTIGATOR AWARD WINNERS
(November 21, 2010) SFRBM recognized 15 outstanding student and postdoc members with Young Investigator Awards (YIAs) at the society's Closing Banquet in Orlando. Each winner received $500 cash and a free registration to the association's 2011 or 2012 Annual Meeting.

2010 TRAVEL AWARD WINNERS

(October 8, 2010) -- SFRBM's Junior Awards Committee wishes to
congratulate the winners of the Society's annual Travel Awards. These
awards were made available to students and postdocs who wish to attend
SFRBM 2010 to present their research. Ten (10) awards at $1,000 each
were conferred to postdoc or student members of SFRBM outside of the
United States. In addition, ten (10) Travel Awards at $500 each were
presented to postdoc and student members in the US. Winners will receive
recognition and their check at the SFRBM 2010 Awards Banquet on
November 20 in Orlando, Florida. 10 Awards at $1,000 for students/postdocs outside US
