FLOYD and MASON SELECTED AS 2007 SENIOR
INVESTIGATOR AWARD WINNERS

August 9, 2007 -- SFRBM's Awards Committee has announced the 2007 recipients of the society's Senior Investigator Awards. Robert Floyd, Ph.D., F.O.S. of the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation was chosen SFRBM's "Discovery Award" winner, while Ronald Mason, Ph.D. of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) will receive a "Lifetime Achievement Award." Both awards include a featured lecture at SFRBM's 14th Annual Meeting in Washington, DC on Wednesday, November 14, 2007, a $2,500 cash award and an invitation to publish a review article in Free Radical Biology and Medicine, SFRBM's journal.
